    Position Overview

    As a strategic partner, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and leaders in a consultative approach to HR related needs and issues. 

    Essential Job Functions

    • Partners with managers to provide guidance, establish, implement, and support business objectives. 
    • Acts as a Company advocate, advancing corporate culture, while ensuring that employees are being supported and represented in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Partners with managers to resolve employee relations issues including termination of employment (following HR management approval).  Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
    • Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 
    • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistency in the execution of policies and procedures.  Identify opportunities to make formal recommendations to HR leadership for changes to policies and procedures.
    • Maintains the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality and business ethics.
    • Coaches, counsels, and guides management on the execution of the performance management and disciplinary action processes.
    • Proactively connects with new employees in the business unit to discuss their onboarding experience, reinforce culture and values, and assist them in networking in their new organization.
    • Educates leaders on corporate HR policies to create understanding and consistency.
    • Meets with exiting employees to discuss and document core issues and provides feedback to their leadership, and suggestions to reduce turnover.
    • Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and engagement.
    • Ensures all Federal, state, and local laws, and corporate HR-related compliance matters are proactively addressed, including but not limited to ADA, EEO and Affirmative Action Planning.
    • Accepts responsibility and takes initiative for other responsibilities or projects that will benefit the team and organization.

    Other Job Functions

    • Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
    • Travel to all facility locations as needed
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent, preferred
    • PHR certification, preferred
    • 5+ years Human Resources experience, required
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), required
    • Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
